Dear Fearless Climber,

Many coaches and consultants struggle to develop 3 areas of their business. As a result, they take too much time to figure it all out on their own and lose money in the process.

The 3 areas you need to develop are:

  1. A clear message to attract your ideal clients
  2. A marketing system to get qualified leads
  3. The skills to close sales without being or feeling pushy

If you need help with this, I'm here to guide and support you!

In the meantime, keep reading for some simple steps you can take in your business today.

All the best on your Fearless Climb!

"Resilience is the ability to recover emotionally from a challenge, problem, or be able to learn from these experiences and believe they will make you stronger and can contribute to your future success. Two factors that affect your resilience are self-awareness and self-regulation."

Here are two questions to journal about to help you bounce back from a setback:
1. How do I feel right now?
2. What can I do to improve my emotional state?

- From 'Grow a Pair of Antlers: The Fearless Climb to Lead Your Herd'

When I started my first business - a bookkeeping service - I had worked in a cubicle for 20 years. I had no idea how to create a successful business! The biggest mistake I made was striving alone for too many years of financial struggles before I finally hired a coach to guide me.

That's my story. What's yours? Use it as part of your compelling message to attract your ideal clients!

Fear is probably the biggest reason we don't market ourselves. We are afraid of looking foolish. We are afraid of sounding stupid. We are afraid we won't know the answers to the questions people ask us. We are afraid of rejection. That's why I call it COURAGEOUS marketing.

Creating an online marketing system enabled me to attract people I can help and reduced my risk. What is one low-risk thing you can do in your business to attract leads?

The most effective sales techniques are based on an understanding of psychology and the feelings we trigger with our thoughts. For example, when a lead gets on a call with us, they will be feeling the fear of "being sold". They don't want to be pushed into something they don't need or want.

It's important to tell them at the beginning: 'There is no obligation to buy. This call is just to find out if I can help you solve a problem. If not, that's ok!' And it's equally important for you to really mean those words!

I noticed that coaches & consultants have amazing professional skills, but are often uncertain how to set up their own business, market it, or sell it. They often struggle for way too long trying to figure everything out on their own and feeling overwhelmed. As a result, they lose a lot of time and money...and, they don't get to help as many people as they could with their gifts and expertise.
